London, England.
It’s what’s called "going ballistic"!
The silver-grey Ford speeds like a race car down the brightly-lit city streets. So what bug bit him? Things were going well enough. Being a math teacher was nothing but smooth sailing. With Mary... it was the one true love. Harry and Emily, no worse than the others. So? Why leave, slamming the door to London Central High School behind you? Why, suddenly, did you overturn everything to do with your essential self? Would you mind explaining why you threw in your job to explore other options when you’re already passed forty? And what on earth made you sign up at Jobcentre Plus in search of a new professional experience?

Slumped in an armchair, alone in his apartment (Mary had quickly gone to pick up a few things while their financial situation would still allow it), he’s biting his fingernails as he goes over the events of the last few weeks.
He dozes off for a few seconds and has a terrible nightmare...
